At Geoship, we envision a regenerative future built on healthy, resilient homes that harmonize with the Earth. As a Public Benefit Corporation and certified B Corporation based in Grass Valley, CA, we’re more than a home‑builder we’re on a mission to transform what it means to live well.
We draw inspiration from Buckminster Fuller, who believed the design of housing could help “make the world work for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, without ecological harm or disadvantage to anyone.” At Geoship, we carry forward that spirit through purpose‑driven innovation, regenerative design, and community building.
What Makes Our Homes Different
- Bioceramic + Geodesic Design: Our domes are crafted with a proprietary bioceramic composite a room‑temperature‑curing, non‑toxic, ultra‑durable material inspired by the chemistry of bone.
- Built for Resilience & Health: These domes resist earthquakes, fires, floods, mold, and pests, while eliminating common toxic components found in conventional homes.
- Efficiency & Affordability: We engineer our homes to slash energy costs, reduce waste, and simplify maintenance. With factory-built components and streamlined installation, we aim to make high-performance, sustainable living accessible.
Our Approach
- Integrated Home System: We build the home in our facility, ship it, and deploy our own installation teams removing many intermediaries in the construction process.
- Expansion Beyond Homes: We’re building tools for financing, co-ownership, and community planning software. Our goal: conjure entire regenerative communities as a unified system.
- Scaling with Purpose: From pilot projects to regional microfactories, we’re building toward a future where we can produce a million homes globally without compromising sustainability or affordability.
Milestones & Momentum
- We’ve accumulated thousands of dome reservations and secured support from mission-aligned investors.
- Our leadership team includes alumni from Tesla, Apple, SpaceX, and material science bringing capabilities across engineering, design, and scaling.
- In 2025, we achieved Factory-Built Housing Certification in California and installed our first fully functional bioceramic dome.
